Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do you check first when you arrive?

I confirm the damage, confirm sensors, protect your dash and paint, and walk you through the plan.

  • Repair or replace. How do you decide?

If the chip is small and away from the edge or camera zone, repair is usually safest. Long edge cracks or line-of-sight damage call for a replacement.

  • Best tip to stop a crack from spreading?

Avoid slamming doors. Keep the car in the shade if you can until we arrive.

  • What should customers do before a visit?

Clear the dash, park on level ground if possible, and have keys handy.

  • Your take on DIY kits?

They look cheap but often trap moisture and make pro repairs harder. A pro resin and proper cure matter.

  • ADAS and safety. What should people know?

If we replace a windshield with a camera, the system will need calibration. We guide that step to ensure your safety features work correctly.
